"Lasts 12 months that’s it.."
I honestly was hesitant to pay nearly £40 for an eye masks but saw the reviews and initially i absolutely loved it.

We are now a year on and the strap is stretched, Velcro doesn’t work anymore and the mask doesn’t stay on. Considering the price I just think it’s unacceptable and the response from the company was also unacceptable. Such a shame as the product idea is golden execution poor.

"Weirdos On The Internet"
Honestly don't understand these extremely hostile reviews. I ordered a Manta mask, it arrived, and does a really good job at blocking out light so I can sleep in on Sundays.

"Overpriced and underserviced."
Stay far away from Manta, not only are they gouging customers with the price they charge for a piece of fabric; the customer service is terrible and completely lost when it comes to offering solutions in a timely manner for issues as basic as address amendments. It works as well as my 40 dollar mask which I've had for 5+ years at this point. I heard alot about Manta so I bit the bullet on the price to see what the big deal was. It's not even remotely worth the price they charge and the customer service from Manta is some of the worst I've experienced as a consumer. I sent multiple emails in hopes of figuring out a solution to my, again, very basic issues only to have Manta offer zero helpful solutions. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and stay away from Manta. The 40 dollar mask is just as good i imagine and you won't have to deal with the extra stress of being jerked around by Mantas "customer service."

"Dishonest, deceiving and aggressive marketing"
I bought both the $160 Manta Sound, which is advertised as being designed for side sleepers, and the reviews on the product page seem to endorse this.

The problem is, it's all fake. This mask is truly awful for side sleepers, you're literally sleeping with something hard pushing up against your ear all night. You end up in pain.

It has some other major issues that make me think this is maybe just a bottom-dollar piece of rubbish produced as an excuse for marketers to have something to sell. The buttons are loud and clicky, loud enough wake your partner up. The light is bright, flashing red and blue across the room when you turn it on. The sound controls are idiotic for a sleep mask, the lowest level is too loud, and there's no way to make it quieter.

Why am I posting a product review here? Because the reviews on their product page are hand selected by Manta. They simply don't allow negative reviews to be visible.

It's remarkable how many dishonest tricks this company uses. They use the full force of Google's tracking to aggressively advertise sleep masks to you everywhere you go. They had a stunt in December where they marked the Manta Sound as out of stock artificially for 3 days, so that they could have a "now back in stock" campaign to drive FOMO.

This company will try any dishonest trick in the book to sell their rather average sleep masks to you. Don't fall for them.

I ordered a classic manta sleep the 13 of December and receive it today 09/01.

It’s a problem if you are not in the same localisation for long time.
Also they write on the website it take 09-21 days to arrive, it’s a big joke

"Poor Return Policies"
Poor Return Policies: Purchased two Holiday bundles. These bundles included 2 masks each. I have read good reviews on these masks and thought I would give it a try & give the others as gifts to my children. I found the mask to be very uncomfortable for me as I am a side sleeper. As a result, I emailed the company requesting a return. I received an email back stating because it was a sale event, my purchase was non refundable. No where on the webpage did it state this. I don’t know many people that look at return policies before a purchase, which is on a different webpage, but lesson learned. For this reason, I will never give this company an opportunity again.

"Catastrophic customer support - cheap china smell"
Catastrophic customer support, they do NOT answer any e-mails, I tried it 4x times. Masks smell like the cheapest china products and do not feeling premium at all for a premium price.

Avoid this company at all means!

UPDATE: Refund finally received

Never received a pair of Manta Sleep Mask PRO Carbon Black Limited Edition - Order #MANTA355203. After four months, they ask ME to get in touch with the incompetent delivery company named PARCELFORCE THEY choose to ship with. I paid over 210 bucks and over 70 quid for nothing. I requested the refund and their "fulfillment team" still needs to confirm the RTS status of my order after more than 4 months of waiting.

"Good product, great customer service"
Exceptional customer service. Quick responses, casual but polite, clear and concise.

I bought the Manta Weighted sleep mask which unfortunately wouldn't stay on my head all night, a recurring problem I've had with all the sleep masks I've tried in the past. As my purchase was within the 60-day return window, they quickly arranged my refund without any hassle.

However, the nights the mask did stay on my head definitely improved my sleep and helped my dry eyes in the morning.

"Great for shift workers & travelling"
I am a shift worker and therefore use this mask for sleeping during the day. I rarely write reviews but after seeing the bad reviews that this company has received on trust pilot I felt obliged to write my own positive review. This sleep mask is the best I’ve ever used. It is comfortable, puts no pressure on your eyes at all, and it is total blackout. Great for travelling too.

"I don't understand the bad reviews"
I don't understand the bad reviews. For side sleeping, make sure you get the slim mask. I got the silk cups last year, and lost my mask this year. I ordered a new mask and cups, and after 2 months one of the cups had deflated where they hadn't at all last year. They quickly responded through the chat function, asked for a picture and a couple of questions, and have sent me out a set of replacement cups. I love these masks and can't sleep without them, and have had great customer service!

"No customer care, no 60 day guarantee. Avoid."
Bought a pro and it didn't stay on my head. Contacted company, they haven't responded. Their 60 day refund is a lie. They just do not engage with you if you ask for it. Do not engage with this terrible excuse for a Company.

"Does NOT work for side/belly sleepers as advertised!"
This product puts extreme eye pressure and pain on my eye when I try to use it for sleep. It feels like my eye is being stabbed. This product can only work for back sleepers not side or stomach sleepers. I contacted the company several times in which they refused to refund me then proceeded to ignore my e-mails. The worst customer service I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing. The other reviews are right, this product does not work and is VERY gimmicky. The negative reviews are very accurate about how this company gaslights you when you express concerns and refuses to refund. Terrible customer service!!!

I was not happy with my mask and they did not care. I received a very condecending answer from them telling me that I was wrong. I told them that it was very uncomfortable since I sleep on my side and would also let in nlight. Completely defeating the purpose of their product. Worst customers service i have ever experienced.

"I really like my mask"
I really like my mask, it's one of the best ones I've tried so far (and I've tried a few). It's definitely adjustable and easy to wear - and it keeps all light out.
